PairED Pathways is a private educational consultancy providing student support, school collaboration, and professional learning services. We are not affiliated with or employed by any government department.

  • Consent is verified via signed consent forms or documented email confirmation.

  • Parents/guardians may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual obligations.

 

NDIS RELATED INFORMATION

  • Where relevant, we may collect information related to NDIS participants.

  • We provide support under Capacity Building supports but do not submit or process NDIS funding applications.

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring our services align with their plan and for managing their funding.

 

DATA STORAGE, SECURITY & RETENTION

  • Personal information is stored securely on Google Drive and other secure systems.

  • We maintain physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect data from misuse, loss, or unauthorized access.

  • Data may be stored overseas (e.g., Google cloud servers in the USA or other countries)

  • We require service providers to comply with Australian privacy standards.

    Retention periods:

  • Student/parent records: 7 years after last service provision, unless otherwise required by law

  • Financial/invoicing records: 7 years

  • Website analytics data: 2 years

 

COOKIES & WEBSITE ANALYTICS

  • Our website may use cookies to improve your experience and collect anonymous usage data

  • Tools: Google Analytics

  • Purpose: Understand website traffic, improve user experience, and track anonymized usage patterns

  • Users can disable cookies in their browser settings

 

GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  • This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

  • Parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally and in good faith with PairED Pathways.

  • If unresolved, disputes may proceed to mediation in Victoria, Australia, before seeking any court action.

  • Any written notice of a dispute should be sent by email to hello@pairedpathways.com.au and will be deemed received within 5 business days.

 

DIRECT MARKETING

  • We may send newsletters or service updates to users who opt-in.

  • Users can unsubscribe or opt out at any time using the link in emails or by contacting us directly at hello@pairedpathways.com.au

  • We do not send marketing to individuals who have not consented.

 

COMPLAINTS

  • Complaints about privacy or data handling should be sent to hello@pairedpathways.com.au

  • We will acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and aim to resolve them within 20 business days.

  • If unresolved, complaints may be escalated to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). The OAIC is the federal authority under the Privacy Act 1988, which applies in Victoria.

 

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

  • Access and request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

  • Correct or update your personal information

  • Request deletion of your information, subject to legal or contractual obligations

  • Withdraw consent for certain uses, where applicable

  • Requests should be submitted in writing to hello@pairedpathways.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

 

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION OVERSEAS

Where we use cloud-based or third-party service providers (e.g., Google Drive), your personal information may be stored overseas.

We take steps to ensure that such providers comply with Australian privacy standards.

 

OUR PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS & INSURANCE

PairED Pathways maintains current professional and business insurances to ensure safe and ethical service delivery, including:

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance – $2,000,000

  • Public Liability Insurance – $10,000,000

  • Cyber Liability Insurance – $250,000

  • Certificates of Currency are available upon request

 

CHANGES TO THE POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
